 RECIPE OVERVIEW

Wash your strawberries & pat them completely dry.  This helps the chocolate adhere better.

Fresh Strawberries

There are main 2 ways to melt the chocolate:

1. A double boiler

2. In the microwave, which is how I make it.

Pour your chocolate in the bowl and microwave on medium for 1 minute.

Chocolate should be smooth.  If you over heat the chocolate, it will become grainy.Melted-Chocolate

Dip strawberries in chocolate, leaving a bit of UN-coated space at the top, and place on the parchment paper. Repeat for the rest.  Chill in the fridge, taking out 15 minutes before serving.

Tip: If you want to make them fancier with toppings, sprinkle those on immediately after dipping in the chocolate.

Wrap them nicely in a pastry box with a bow on top as a gift, or place on a nice plate, put on some good music, light some candles and have a lovely evening.
