Z Garden

T’was a typical Thursday afternoon of running about town doing several errands.  My knives greatly needed to be sharpened, so I went over to my closest Sur La Table to drop off my precious Shun & Wüsthof chefs knives to be restored to their former glory.

I think it’s safe to say that there is something about shopping that makes us all hungry, and to my fortune just around the corner I came across Z Garden

While waiting for my food the server brought over some warm pita and a thyme oil dip.

Soon after came my dish. I ordered the chicken kebabs which came with rice, salad, hummus & pickled turnips.

Typically there is this general disappointment that comes with a ‘house salad’.  It usually made with very little care & thought, but a Z garden their salad is a star of it’s own, not just some side.

I could gab on and on about how juicy the chicken was, or how amazing it tasted to mix the creamy hummus with the pilaf style rice, but then I’d just be bragging about an amazing meal I just had that you won’t understand unless you go yourself.
